About Me - The Hive Helpers
Hi, I’m Jessie, the owner and hands behind The Hive Helpers, your trusted source for home cleaning services in the Sumter area. Cleaning has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — it’s something that has always come naturally to me. I started helping my mother’s friends when I was just 10 years old. She noticed how thorough I was and began recommending me, and before long I was cleaning homes on my own.
I spent several years living with my older sister, and my “job” in the house was to keep everything spotless and help with the kids while she worked. If the house was shining by Friday, my reward was a weekend trip to the beach or the mountains. Those early years taught me responsibility, consistency, and the joy of creating a calm, welcoming space for others.
As an adult, I’ve worked custodial roles in many different settings, and today I serve as the Facility Services Manager at the YMCA, leading a team of professional cleaners while working right alongside them. Cleaning has always been more than a task for me — it’s calming, grounding, and something I genuinely love. Helping people feel happy and comfortable in their homes is one of my favorite things.
I’m known for being friendly, easygoing, and someone who makes connections wherever I go. I truly enjoy people, and I take pride in bringing kindness and care into every home I clean with The Hive Helpers.
Serving the Sumter community means a lot to me because this area is home — it’s where I’m raising my two daughters, my son, and our sweet little rescue dog, Eliza. Being able to help local families feel more relaxed, supported, and cared for through our Sumter cleaning services is exactly why I started The Hive Helpers.
